Summer came and went quickly and sleeplessly with our new addition.

Kate has turned out to be the complete opposite of Lauren, very strong lungs (strongest in her class according to the teachers at preschool). You know its loud when people turn their head at a stop light in the next car. We actually had a neighbor (2 doors down) come by to check if it was an animal or baby crying.

Kate is also very strong, already pushing up on her hands and attempting to roll over. She doesn't want to miss a thing.

Kate loves her big sister, never failing to smile at Lauren even if she is being a little less than gentle. She has been a lot of fun to be with. Any frustration we have completely melts always when she smiles and coos at us.

Lauren had a busy summer. 2 has been a fun age.

Some of her favorite things include eating, playing with Baylee, and snoopy(poopy), reading books and puzzles.

She is a great helper. We have put her to work on our numerous ongoing house projects.

She is also a master pacifier detector and inserter.

unfortunately, she got her mothers motor skills and she has had more booboos than we can count. One involved a trip to the ER. Fortunately, cousin David was there to fix her. Thanks Dr. Biddle.

We didn't get to spend much time at the lake this year, but we did get a lot of work done making it a comfortable place to stay.

We went out on the Klehrs' new boat and had a great time.

We may send the girls to some form of monastery due to Laurens affection for the dress and Kate's monk hairdo. Though Lauren also leans towards other world religions in her dress.
